I’m a pitiful sports fan compared to the average American male, but I rather dig the idea of an athlete-artist.  Or as I like to think, an artist whom plays sports, like former NBA player Desmond Mason (OSU Cowboy, Seattle Supersonics, OKC Thunder).  

 

H & 8th Food Truck Festival, OKC

H & 8^th . . . our wonderful food truck festival, which I’ve heard is the largest in the country.  Hard to think we are blessed with such things in this little big former Cowtown on the dusty prairie.    

 

Some street poets gettin' after it on vintage typewriters in the golden aura of the setting sun.  Pay ten bucks and a theme and they’ll bang out a poem just for you. 

 

I finished the night off with a decadent crepe with strawberries and whip cream from a vintage airstream food trailer.
